It’s simple 5G click locking-system mechanism, with a pre-attached backing, means that no separate underlay is required. This makes it an ideal installation where acoustics, uneven subfloors or preservation of existing subfloors are a consideration. It is suitable over most hard subfloors (including damp subfloors found in some new builds and extensions).
Van Gogh Rigid Core is the perfect option if you want to reduce the sound passing to the room below (reduced noise transfer by 21db).
