The Karndean Knight Tile Rigid Core collection offers our widest range of planks and tiles at an affordable price. This means there is something for everyone. Each design reflects natural materials from classic to contemporary. Featuring a unique K-Core® technology and click-locking mechanism, these floors are strong and stable. It can be installed quickly and easily over most existing hard floors and imperfect subfloors. Colours options include Black Riven Slate, Grey Riven Slate, Cumbrian Stone and Portland Stone.

The clear PVC embossed wear layer protects the floor from wear and tear. The K-Guard+ surface protection system provides a hygienic and durable finish. Its K-Core layer is composed of 100% PVC to offer a more stable installation. It also features a pre- attached acoustic foam backing.

All Karndean LVT flooring is fully waterproof and is ideal for installing in kitchens and bathrooms. Suitable for households with pets and young children. The Knight Tile range is fully compatible with underfloor heating (up to 27c) and all ranges come with a lifetime guarantee. What is more is that all Karndean products are environmentally friendly and 100% recyclable.

Standard shipping charges are FREE for all orders over £850 and will incur a standard delivery charge of £65.00 for all orders below this threshold.

Beyond Flooring offers a 7-Day standard delivery turnaround time on all flooring shipped within the UK. Unfortunately, at times, certain products may have high levels of demand and cannot be supplied within these timescales. In this instance we will attempt to make you aware of this at the point of purchase.

Once we receive your order(s) we will then contact you to arrange a suitable delivery date. We won’t send your order until we have confirmed when you want it so it is important that you give us the correct contact details to facilitate this process. If you have any special delivery requirements or dates that you would like to receive your flooring, then please put them in the order notes. Beyond Flooring deliver to any household or business premises across the UK (excluding Northern Ireland), though some non-mainland addresses or rural postcodes may incur an additional surcharge.

Returns

Although we try and ensure that you make the right purchase from the start, we do honour the Consumer Contracts Regulations which ensures you have 14 days to return products. In the unlikely event you change your mind and want to return your products our returns policy is as follows:

We do not accept cancellations and returns for any bespoke products (i.e. ordered in special products, colour-stained wood, or cut to measure)
The delivery cost of any returned items are the liability of the customer. We only take complete orders/packs and will not accept part returns
If products have been dispatched and/or received and you would like to return within 14 days of your order, please get in contact with us and we will take you through the returns process. You will not be refunded for any delivery costs incurred
All returned good remain the responsibility of customers until we sign them back in at our Leeds showroom. Any damaged stock will not be refunded as they are no longer suitable for resale

Click and Collect

We also have a click and collect service available for anyone who wants to pick up their order free of charge within the hours of 9am to 5pm (Mon-Sat). If this option does not automatically come up during the order process please get in touch and we can amend the order for collection.

Installation

Click/Locking SystemsBeginner

Click system flooring is used across a number of different flooring types including engineered wood, laminate flooring and Luxury Vinyl Tiles (LVT). Some brands may refer to it as a “locking mechanism” and others will have their own brand for their specific system, such as Balterio’s “ClickExpress”, Karnedean’s “5G Locking System” or Quick-Step’s “Uniclic”.

Click systems are a simple mechanism to make it much easier for DIY installations, with two planks simply fitting together and “clicking” into place. This ensures a secure fit and locks the flooring together for quick installation. Click flooring is most commonly fitted using a floating installation over underlay (which means it just sits upon rather than being fixed to the subfloor).

Pros

Probably the easiest flooring system to fit, making it perfect for DIY installations. Even if you are using a professional fitter, it is likely to cost you 20% less than other methods due to the labour saving
No nails or glue required as fitted as a floating floor
Ability to replace any damaged boards post installation
Increasing range of styles available due to popularity of the system
Speed of installation

Cons

A click system cannot be fitted over joists as it requires a solid subfloor underneath
The flooring tends to be more expensive due to higher manufacturing costs (though cheaper installation costs)
As click flooring is typically floating it does require a high-quality underlay to reduce noise and maximised underfoot comfort
Expansion gaps are needed so needs beading or skirting
Can be a little noisy/clunky due to floating planks
